My HERO was someone I admired, someone I looked up to. Someone who gave me hope. He was not a myth, or an icon, or a legend- he was someone solid, genuine and so very real. An ordinary boy, who did extraordinary things. A HERO who picked me up when I was down. Believed in me before I believed in myself. He inspired me to expand and embrace what’s possible. He helped many to realize that they too can be heroes.
This HERO is my son, Myles McLellan, you may be gone but your handprints are all around, you have touched so many. My HERO My SON
Everyone who does the best he or she can do should be considered a hero.
We can choose to be affected by the world or we can choose to affect the world.
When we do face the difficult times, we need to remember that circumstances don’t make a person, they reveal a person.
A hero is simply someone who rises above his or her own human weaknesses, for an hour, a day, a year to do something stirring.
If something comes to life in others because of you, then you have made an approach to immortality.
