Myles’ Miracle Mission – CANcer Assist in partnership with the CKSPEAKS has developed a demographic map of cancer occurrences within the Municipality of Chatham-Kent. The goal is to set up an incidence map that will detail whether there are clusters of cancer incidents in our local community or not. If there are, is there a common environmental factor to be explored?
Gathering information for mapping is difficult due to respect of the privacy of cancer-stricken persons, so we are asking for cancer information to be volunteered for the map. If you or a loved one has been diagnosed we need to hear from you. Families with a loved one who has passed, are encouraged to submit there information. It is only when we come together with the data needed will we be able to look for possible answers.
