1. In order to be considered for the 2nd Annual Event, you must submit an essay of no more then 500 words typed, explaining your reason for wanting to be on one of the two teams, your motivation and commitment to the Team. Please remember this is a TEAM EVENT, YOU MUST BE WILLING TO SUPPORT THE TEAM FOR 3 MONTHS. Along with your essay you must submit a recent full body picture (no more then 3 months old) No exceptions. The 2nd Annual Cancer The Biggest Loser will run from March 2nd to May29nd 2009.
2. The initial weigh-in is required and will be held during the FIRST information night for those who have been selected, through the essay submission form.
Date, time and location to be set at later date and those who have been selected will be notified.
3. Participants will be split into 2 teams and will be giving t-shirts. Each Team will be designated a trainer as their Team Leader. The Team Leader will contact their Team to let them know their meeting dates and work out dates.
4. Mandatory bi-weekly weigh-ins will be held time and date to be announced, on the first team meeting. Team weight loss will be posted for all participants to see on a special page on FACEBOOK.
Each participant will receive a complimentary 3 month membership to be able to work out at their convenience from Goodlife Fitness Club located at 100 King St W. Chatham (Co-ed) and also the Superstore Location 791 St. Clair St Chatham (Women Only) which entitles the participant full access to all equipment and classes offered by Goodlife Fitness Club.
We will also have a minimum of 5 boot camps and 3 nutritional classes during the Cancer the Biggest Loser fundraiser to be held by personal trainer and nutritionist Christina Roberts. Times and locations for these events will be given to participants at the information night.
All participants must be present for the final weigh in, that will determine who the winners are in both male and female. At the final weigh-in we will once again take the final girth measurements, body fat analysis. IF YOU CAN'T COMMIT TO THE TEAM DON'T REGISTER!
5. Cancer - The Biggest Loser Title will be awarded to the participant with the greatest percentage of weight loss, not necessarily who loses the most weight in pounds. In the event of a tie, the tied winners total dollar amount raised will determine the winner. ( The person who raised the most money) Two winner's one male/female. Prize for the top fundraiser will also be awarded this year.
6. The entry fee is $50.00 for each selected participant. No refunds will be given for any reason once a participant has been selected and accepts to become a participant of the 2nd Annual Cancer the Biggest Loser. All participants must fill out the Official Registration forms and waiver completely. All information is kept confidential unless otherwise noted by you on the form in this packet. Entry fee must be paid the first meeting night.
Each participant agrees to collect donations for Myles' Miracle Mission CANcer Assist, with a MINIMUM of $400 of donations per participant is required over the duration of the event. All monies must be received by May 22nd, 2009 to be eligible for the prize of top fundraiser at the conclusion of the event.
