OUR VISION
To eliminate the personal, family and community burden of cancer.
Myles’ Miracle Mission-CANcer ASSIST is a volunteer community based organization with a commitment to helping cancer patients and their families through their cancer journey.
At the heart of everything we do are the needs of the people living with cancer in our community. People who have been affected by cancer- as patients or caregivers – become experts by experience, they know how cancer care should be. We strive to be responsive to changing needs and expectations of people affected by cancer in our community. We want to ensure that cancer care here in Chatham-Kent is given the same priority as research and cures. By working closely with people living with cancer, their families and communities, we aim to develop services which reflect people’s real needs and wishes.

Lastly we aim to support the growing needs of the school community regarding cancer issues. From providing informative teaching resources to local speakers for school presentations, we want to raise awareness of cancer, environmental issues, how we help, how young people can reduce their chances of getting cancer and how school can get involved.
We receive no government funding and rely on community donations, third party fundraisers etc to help ensure support for our community cancer patients.
